The Painted Tomb: An Ancient Egypt Tale of Body Swap and Submission

He came to steal a fortune. He stole a curse.

Kamil is the greatest thief in Thebes. He fears no curse and respects no dead. Breaking into the sealed tomb of the High Priestess Amunet is just another job—until he touches the Heart of Jade resting on her chest.

In a flash of necrotic magic, the centuries are reversed. Kamil is ripped from his warm, living body and slammed into the cold, preserved corpse of the Priestess. He watches in horror as his own body, now possessed by Amunet’s ancient soul, stands up, takes the treasure, and seals him inside the darkness.

Cold flesh demands warm blood.

Trapped in a body that has been dead for three thousand years, Kamil discovers a terrifying truth: he is freezing. To keep his new female form from returning to stone, he must feed. Not on food, but on the Ka—the life force found in the virility of living men. When rival bandits break into the tomb, Kamil must use his undead beauty to seduce them, draining their heat through desperate, vampiric intimacy just to survive the night.
