Sea Scepters

Welcome to Thalassa, a world of a thousand wavetop kingdoms-scattered isles, floating cities, living titans, and an ocean ruled as much by pelagic magic as by politics.

Mako was built for motion: wave riding, high diving, pushing the edge of what a body can survive. He was fast, fearless, and headed for something bigger-until one race showed him how the system really works. After a public disqualification, it was clear: NOAH, the New Oceanic Allied Hegemony, protects its own.

Now Mako runs with the Sea Scepters-a small rogue crew who know the currents, the reefs, and the blind spots in NOAH’s patrol routes-aboard their ship, the Narwhal. When a trader hints that NOAH is searching for powerful non-sanctioned pelagitech somewhere near their home waters, the crew follows the trail.

What they uncover isn’t what anyone expected.

Hidden beneath Mount Ray Bay, in a submerged vault, the Sea Scepters find advanced pelagitech unlike anything NOAH manufactures, and questions about everything they thought they knew. But the discovery of the gear and the uncertainty about their past pale next to the knowledge contained within the vault.

An ancient book points the way to an artifact called the Titan’s Guise. A relic capable of controlling any Thalassic Titan in the ocean. In the wrong hands, it could tip the balance of power across the wavetop kingdoms.

NOAH wants it.

The Sea Scepters have to find it first.

As NOAH closes in on the same prize, old rivalries resurface and the race moves from hidden archives to open water-and onto the back of something vast enough to swallow kingdoms whole.

But discovery is only the beginning. Mako must decide whether they keep the artifact and learn how to use it-or try to make it disappear.

Because on Thalassa, the horizon doesn’t belong to whoever claims it.

It belongs to whoever can reach it.

Full of action, oceanic wonder, and unbreakable bonds, Thalassa: Sea Scepters is a bold debut that blends fast-paced adventure with themes of found family, responsibility, and choice.

Perfect for fans of Skyward, Treasure Planet, and The Waterborn.
