Bad Luck: Original Brew

Summoned to be a Familiar, a humiliated incubus and his witch embark on a deadly journey to obtain ancient artifacts to sever their bond, while avoiding witch hunters as a series of dark humor and peril chase at their heels.

Get ready to dive into the chaotic charm of Bad Luck--a comic that began with uneven lettering, questionable spelling, and a whole lot of heart. This special edition collects the original first three chapters, just as they appeared initially published in 2018. Raw, quirky, and full of early creative energy, it’s the unfiltered beginning of a story that’s since found a home with Oceaniacom Press.

Set in an alternate 1950’s America, witches, demons, and magic are real. Oliver, a bitter incubus, is accidentally summoned by Ava, a very forgetful witch, as her Familiar. Together, they must explore the far reaches of the world to obtain rare components to complete the ritual that would break their bond, setting Oliver free.

However, their adventure doesn’t come without a price. A group known as Harvesters are hunting witches like Ava down, and their leader seems to have taken an interest in the pair.

Oliver and Ava must learn to work together while avoiding the Harvesters at all costs to see their journey through to the end.
